The history behind the car

We bought the car from its previous owner in Hämeenkyrö, southern Finland. It had been driven very little in the past 5 years, and possibly hadn’t seen as much TLC as it would have deserved to. Most of the car is in great shape though, as it has been painted over and apparently restored to some extent 10 years ago.

Condition

The interior is almost untouched by time, and this is the first NA I’ve ever seen not to have a horrid lifter tick, so it’s mostly good so far! The overall condition is immacculate, but it does have some small faults to it as well. First of all, the right side fender has rust underneath, and I will likely need to replace the fender and the skirt underneath. The boot has been smacked into something at some point, causing a nasty bump on the lid. The antennae is a stubby one for some reason, and the top has been replaced for an mohair one. Although the Mohair roof is easy to live with, and is in great condition, I might have to switch it for a vnyl one as those are much nicer (than the ebay mohair one anyway – the modern mohair roofs are much better).
