Well this is it. The best car I have ever owned, a true dream come true! I had been looking for one for years, and when this one came for sale I left the work early, drove to the lot and took it for a test drive. That was the last they ever had the car, as I bought it straight afterwards.
The history behind the car
To be honest, it hadn’t got much in terms of history. It was a few years old, but had only done 17k km over that time period. Apparently it had been brought from Sweden by it’s previous owner.
Condition & toys
The car was in immaculate condition, and a top of the range model. The only faults to it was some wear on the driver side Recaro seat, but it never bothered me as it wasn’t something you’d often see or feel. Curiously enough, it seems like it was better equipped than you could buy in most countries – it had the full ”club” (The sporty one you’d want) package with Bilstein suspension, Recaro Seats, Limited Slip Differential and larger Enkei wheels, but on top of that it also had all the luxury features from the more comfort oriented ”GT” model. It had Bose sound system, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, I-ELOOP mild hybrid system (effectively ERS), heated seats, active xenon headlights and navigation. The only feature it hadn’t got was android Auto, which hadn’t been released at the time.
